Six!

It's hard to believe, but our baby is now 6 years old!

Parker had a great birthday and enjoyed every minute of the day. He wore a new Iron Man shirt to school (with his Iron Man pump pack of course!). I came to school with McDonald's for lunch and Avenger cupcakes to share with his friends. The cupcakes were a BIG hit! 

Parker had asked for an Avengers cake and I wasn't quite sure what I was going to do for that. I ended up ordering an edible picture and it turned out so good! The cake took less than half an hour to put together. Parker loved it, of course!

Parker decided weeks ago that he wanted to go to Build-a-Bear for his birthday. So, right after school we headed to the mall. We were greeted at the door of Build-a-Bear by eager employees who helped Parker build his very special birthday bear. Parker had a great time picking out a cute brown bear which he named Max. He stuffed him, gave him a heart, washed him and chose some clothes for him. He kept changing his mind about which outfit to get, but finally settled on an Iron Man costume and Spider Man pajamas. 

After that, we ate dinner at Sbarro in the food court--for some reason he had his heart set on eating dinner at the mall! It was pretty good pizza and Parker ate every last bite.

When we got home, Parker pretended to be The Incredible Hulk while he opened his presents :) Then we opened the rest of Parker's presents, sang "Happy Birthday", and ate cake and ice cream. It was a very exciting day. 

Parker was completely worn out by the time he went to bed with his cuddly new friend.
