Eight is Great!

This AWESOME kid turned 8 on Friday!

He has been SO excited about his birthday this year--he has been counting down the days for a few weeks. As part of our tradition, I brought him a McDonald's Happy Meal at his request for lunch at school along with blue and red cupcakes for all of his classmates. He came home from school to fun party decorations and then later that night we celebrated his birthday with Papa John's Pizza and a M&M cookie cake.

He received many wonderful gifts and some money (which he already spent...).

We are so glad Connor is part of our family and we are so proud of him for choosing to be baptized later this week.

Turing 8 also means Connor is now officially a Cub Scout. He was able to go to a few meetings and help with a service project already. He will also be able to participate in the Pinewood Derby later on this month. He and Jason have been working very hard to make a "Sonic" car. He's really hoping to win!

We sure love you, Connor!

Happy Birthday!!!
