Swimming at GKTW

On Tuesday we spent the morning at the hotel so that I could do some laundry. The kids enjoyed this because they got to watch TV channels that we don't have at home the whole time...

For lunch we had planned to meet some of our NC friends, The Blackhams, who moved to Florida last year. We met them at Chick-fil-a and enjoyed catching up for a while. Although it was brief, it was so fun to see them and we were so grateful they were willing to take time out of their day to come and visit with us while we were in Florida.
Later, after we picked up Jason from his conference, we headed back to GKTW to eat dinner and then swim. Parker was very excited to try his new drysuit in a REAL swimming pool. It was a little complicated, not to mention a lot of work, to get Parker and everyone else ready to swim, but it was worth it. We had a great time and Parker thoroughly enjoyed splashing, playing, and going under the water.
Spencer also enjoyed his first time in a real swimming pool. He giggled and laughed and splashed!

After we finished swimming we enjoyed some more ice cream at the Ice Cream Palace and then headed back to the hotel, happy and exhausted.
