What a crazy winter we have had in North Carolina this year! These pictures are from a major storm that hit the whole eastern part of the United States on February 12th and 13th and it was termed "Snowmaggedon". Schools and businesses were closed for a couple of days and the kids enjoyed playing in REAL snow! We had several inches, which is unusual for us. There was also a lot of wind with the storm so we ended up with snow drifts, the highest one being in from of our garage. The kids enjoyed making a couple different snowmen, sledding down our street with one of our neighbor friends, having snowball fights, getting soaked (unfortunately, we do not own appropriate winter play wear, i.e. snow pants, boots, etc), drinking hot chocolate and doing it all over again!
