Guess Who's 4?

Parker turned 4 today! We had a great time celebrating his special day. Ever since he met Spiderman in Florida, he has been a huge fan, so he had requested a Spiderman birthday. He had also asked to eat lunch at one of his favorite places, McDonald's.

After lunch, we came back home where we had planned a few games. First, we played Pin Spiderman on the Web, which Parker won without even cheating! Then we played Musical Spiderman. The kids walked around a circle of letters that spelled Spiderman to the music from "Spectacular Spiderman". When the music stopped, I called one of the letters and whoever was on that letter would get a prize. After a few rounds of that, I started taking the letters away each time the music stopped until there was only one letter left--Connor won this time. Finally, we took turns slinging webs (silly string) at some of Spiderman's enemies like The Green Goblin and Dr. Octopus. This was by far the favorite game!

Then we sang happy birthday and Parker blew out the candles. Check out the cool "Spidey" cake!

Next,  it was time for presents!!! Parker received many wonderful presents (thank you Grandma and Grandpa Romney, Grandma and Grandpa Wardle, and Nanny!) including a very cool Snoopy Sno-cone maker, money, sand (for the sandbox) and several Spiderman presents--puzzles, books, clothes, socks, toothbrush and PJs. 

But his most favorite present and the thing he really wanted was a Wise-Cracking Spiderman. He was very excited when he opened that present!

He had a great day and enjoyed every minute of it. Happy 4th birthday, Parker! We love you so much!!!
