Parker's blood cultures were negative after 48 hours, his fever has been gone for over a day and he is acting completely normal now. I am about 99% sure he just had a stomach bug. It just so happened that he got this stomach bug a few days after the incident with his IV being exposed to air for a few hours. Coincidence? I guess. No big deal. What's a few days of stress and worry, right?
