17 Months Old!

Here we are at 17 months old already! Spencer has had a busy month perfecting his walking skills and finally learning how to climb up the stairs (we're in REAL trouble now!!). Up until now he hasn't shown much interest in the stairs (and we didn't encourage him). A few days ago, I was vacuuming the stairs and turned around to see where he was and he was right behind me on the stairs! I quickly stopped what I was doing and gave him a lesson in how to go down the stairs :) Thankfully, he caught on to that pretty quickly. 

Unfortunately, this month Spencer had an ear infection during the Thanksgiving holiday on top of getting one of his 1 year old molars--poor guy! He was not very happy for a few days.

Besides walking, climbing stairs, and constantly making messes with his toys and books, he has also enjoyed pulling ornaments off of the Christmas tree over and over again. So far, he hasn't pulled the tree over and he has left the presents alone for the most part, but he loves to play with the bows...

We are looking forward to spending Christmas with this little guy next week--he's going to have so much fun!
