This little curly-haired cutie is 15 months old today!! He's as busy as ever and full of energy. This month he finally learned how to cover his eyes (not his ears or the top of his head) while playing peek-a-boo, he took a few steps on his own (with A LOT of encouragement from big brother Connor) and he can stand independently for several seconds. He has also learned a few more words - prayer (while he folds his arms--SO CUTE!), play (sounds more like "pay", but he means play), kay (short for Okay) He even uses this in the right context. If I ask him a question like, "Would you like some milk?", he will excitedly say "Kay!!" But the most important word of all that he learned this month is Mom. Not Mommy or Mama, just Mom. I love it!

He had another swallowing study a couple of weeks ago and was still aspirating just like we suspected. So, we are now thickening all of his liquids to a honey consistency. We ordered special pre-thickened milk to make things a little easier and it has made a big difference with the coughing that we were hearing. Hopefully, he will continue to do better and outgrow this problem eventually.
