Parker is 8 years old!!!
He had a lot of fun celebrating his special day. I brought cupcakes to school to share with his friends and we shared lunch from McDonalds, of course:) This year he was privileged to have a special birthday cake made just for him through the Icing Smiles program which is a nonprofit organization that provides custom birthday cakes to families impacted by the critical illness of a child. Local bakers work with Icing Smiles and volunteer to make these special cakes.
Christine from Liona's Bakery made a fabulous Captain America cake for Parker. It looked great and it was delicious too. Parker loved it!
Parker chose to have homemade Potato cheese soup and french bread for dinner and neapolitan ice cream with his awesome chocolate Captain America cake for dessert. He received several wonderful gifts which he was very excited about!
