We finally got some good snow this winter--the kind that's perfect for snow angels, snowball fights and making a snowman. The kids could hardly wait to get outside and play in the fresh snow. They spent a couple of hours playing in it and building the biggest snowman in the neighborhood (according to Parker...). They were cold, soaked to the bone and worn out when they came inside.
They have missed several days of school because of snow and ice. Everything just shuts down in NC when we have snow and ice. We really don't mind a few extra days of sleeping in, playing at home and relaxing. Hopefully, this is the last of the winter weather--I'm ready for spring!!!

More snow then we had in the West this year. Thanks for building a snowman in NC that is pretty rare!
