Kelsey's 5th Grade Celebration

Last day of Elementary School!
It hardly seems possible that Kelsey finished elementary school today. Surely, we can't be old enough to have a child starting middle school! But, somehow it has happened. Our sweet Kelsey has grown up. Today we were able to attend her 5th Grade Celebration and honor her and all the other 5th graders in her school. Kelsey was chosen from her class to read her reflections on 5th grade and she participated with several fellow 5th graders in singing a song as part of the celebration. She was also acknowledged for being on the honor roll all year and being part of safety patrol.  We are so proud of her and her constant diligence in regard to school. She worked very hard each year and was loved by all her teachers. We affectionately call her our "little over-achiever" because she always does more work than necessary, has her work done well before it's due and actually enjoys writing reports and doing projects! As we watched her walk across the stage today we couldn't help but comment on how grown-up and beautiful Kelsey has become. Take a look at how much she's grown and changed over the past six years...

Congratulations, Kelsey! We love you so much and are very excited for you to move on to middle school (even though it makes us feel REALLY old).

MIDDLE SCHOOL!?!?! That is crazy. But I'm not surprised about the "over achiever" part. She's such a sweet and good girl
