Kelsey ended her first season of coach pitch baseball on Thursday and her team won first place! She had a great season and really made a lot of progress. We weren't sure if we would make it to August at the beginning of the season because we left most of the practices and first few games with a sad Kelsey in tears. It took a while for her to realize that it was OK to strike out and that that's just part of the game. She constantly felt like she was letting the team down. But, by the end, she had improved significantly and her attitude had changed. We are so proud of her for sticking to something that was hard and challenging at first and coming out of it better. Way to go, Kelsey!!!
