Next Friday, June 25, 2010, Parker will undergo his third cardiac catheterization. As many of you know, this is something that we have dreaded doing each year since his first cardiac catheterization in April 2008, which was a very scary and traumatic experience for all of us. However, many things have changed since then and Parker did extremely well with his last cardiac catheterization in June 2009. We are very nervous, but optimistic that this procedure will go just as well, if not better, than last year. Parker's PH has remained stable for the past 2 years, which is great. Through this procedure next week, his cardiologist will be able to determine if the PH is the same, worse, or better than last year. We are obviously hoping for the same or better. Regardless of the results, we know that Heavenly Father is watching out for Parker and we know He will give Parker the strength that he needs to get through this test. So, at this time, we are praying for good things to come and we would like to ask for your prayers too--please pray for Parker! We will be having a special fast for him on Sunday, June 20th. We invite anyone who feels inclined to participate in this fast. We are so grateful for each of you and the incredible love and support that we receive from you. We know that we will all be blessed as we fast and pray in faith. We have seen many miracles come to pass in the last 2 years and we hope, with your help, we can be granted another one.

I loved that movie too. You can TOTALLY count us in on the fast.....okay, count Brooks in, but he'll be in our prayers, personal and family.

I am reading the blog a day late about the fast. However, I will keep him in my prayers and put his name on the roll of the Denver Temple tomorrow. I know that Heavenly Father holds a very close place in his heart for your little Parker. Please know you can call and talk about whatever you feel like talking about with me and worrying about kids. Please know that you will get a listening and understanding ear. Let me know how it goes, we will be at a reunion this weekend, but I will have acess to email. I hope and pray it will go well.
