Grandma and Grandpa Romney came to NC just in time for Parker's puppy party last Thursday. It was great to have them here with us to celebrate such a big day. It made it extra special for our little Parker! On Friday, they took Kelsey and Connor to see the movie, Earth and then we met at Five Guys for dinner where we had the best hamburgers EVER!
On Saturday, we drove to Asheboro, NC to visit the NC Zoo. It was a perfect day to go to the zoo and we had a great time. The NC Zoo is a natural habitat zoo which means the animals live in a place that looks just like it would if they were in the wild. The zoo is HUGE and beautiful. Some of the animals we saw were zebras, giraffes, elephants, gorillas, baboons, polar bears, sea lions, alligators, monkeys, turtles, and ostriches. The sea lions and polar bears were very fun to watch and they put on a show for all the visitors. By the end of the day, Connor was wishing he could be a polar bear and do tricks all day and that he had his own alligator. Later that night we had a "movie night" and watched Bedtime Stories while we ate pizza in the living room. Sunday we went to church and then enjoyed the rest of the day relaxing together. On Monday, Grandma and Grandpa had to go back home. We loved having them visit and we can't wait to see them again. Thanks for coming, Grandma and Grandpa Romney. We love you!

I'm so glad I came across your blog. It is so fun to read about your kids (I can't believe how big Kelsey and Connor are getting) and especially to catch up on Parker and the amazing miracle that he is. It was so good to see you.
